STRONG
With 135 years of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI) engineering building the heaviest, most durable and complex machines
on the planet, Kawasaki strong is a name we can claim. KHI builds tunnel boring machines that connect continents and trains
that carry millions of New Yorkers in and out of the city 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. From these engineering monsters to
the last bolt on the smallest Mule™ side x side, KHI engineering says, over and over; Use me. Rely on me. I’m built to work.
BULLET TRAINS
MOTORCYCLE ENGINES
ROBOTICS
You already know KHI builds machines
that move people. But, did you know it
also builds machines that move thousands
of people—all at once? We’re talking
trains here. From New York City subway
cars to Japan’s hyper-speed bullet trains,
Kawasaki has been in the business since
1906. Whether a 186-mph bullet train or
a 1,441cc Ninja® ZX™-14R motorcycle, KHI
Since KHI built its first motorcycle in 1953,
it has never stopped pushing technology to
arm riders with what they need to dominate
the streets. Advanced engineering,
exhaustive testing, and tireless passion go
into every motorcycle every time rubber
hits the road. From industry-first features to
the features that have evolved over a long
history, KHI’s innovations will never stop
feeding the insatiable appetites of riders
around the world.
If robots are the future, then KHI has been
shaping it since 1969 when the company
built its first industrial robot. KHI continues
to be a leader in the development of robots
for a diverse number of processes including:
assembly, handling, welding, painting and
sealing. Kawasaki robot technology is being
used every day to manufacture motorcycles
and other products.
likes to believe that the technology that
goes into moving thousands of people
has a positive effect on how it goes about
moving just one.

BRIDGED-BOX-BOTTOM PISTON WITH REVISED CROWN
Developed on our championship factory bikes, the heart of the KX450F engine
is the new bridged-box-bottom piston with revised crown. This technology
improves combustion efficiency for a stronger mid-range hit. New ECU settings
help enhance traction to control the extra power.

FROM OUR
RACE TEAM TO YOU
1
LAUNCH CONTROL MODE
A perfect launch at the drop of the gate can set
you on the path to moto greatness. The KX450F
maintains its supremacy at the gate with our
factory-developed, industry-first Launch Control
Mode. Activate Launch Control Mode to reduce
wheel spin on the start for maximum traction
and acceleration.
2
BRAKING® OVERSIZED FRONT ROTOR
You can ride aggressively into corners with
the KX450F’s new factory-inspired front and
rear Braking® petal-disc brake rotors. The
front Braking® rotor is oversized at 270mm
to maximize stopping power. Take the inside
line and make the pass.
3
BEST-IN-CLASS ADJUSTABILITY
No other motocrosser offers the
adjustability of the KX450F. This bike was
designed with 4-way adjustable handlebar
mounts and 2-way adjustable footpegs
bolted to a strong, yet light and slim
aluminum chassis. The KX450F also has
easily changeable DFI® couplers to tune
power trackside for throttle response that
fits track conditions or rider preference.
Even more adjustability comes from
the optional Kawasaki Racing Software
Kit, which offers the ability to customize
engine maps.

KX™250F
THE MOST
DOMINANT 250F EVER
RACE-READY FEATURES
The 2015 KX250F has been refined to put you further ahead of the competition. It starts with
the only dual injector setup in the 250F class, featuring a new downstream injector that’s been
revised for sharper throttle response and more low- to mid-range power. The KX250F features
interchangeable DFI couplers for quick and easy trackside tuning of the power delivery to allow

THE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION
1
BRAKING® OVERSIZED FRONT ROTOR
New Braking® petal-shaped brake rotors are installed on both
the front and rear wheels – with an oversized 270mm rotor in
front – of the KX250F to increase stopping power and control.
2
3
ADJUSTABILITY
The new slim aluminum chassis is now equipped
with the same 2-way adjustable footpegs and 4-way
adjustable handlebar mounts as the KX450F, providing
adjustability to fit your style and performance.
SHOWA SEPARATE FUNCTION FORK TYPE 2
The revolutionary SHOWA SFF Type 2 fork has been retuned
with more aggressive settings for better handling at high
speeds. It provides easy suspension adjustability – including a
preload adjuster – via the top of the fork. Separating damping
from the spring results in smooth action, helping to keep the
front wheel where you want it.
4
LAUNCH CONTROL MODE
Winning the holeshot usually means winning the race.
The KX250F is equipped with the same factory-spec
Launch Control Mode as the champion KX450F. It can
be activated at the push of a button to optimize power
delivery for maximum acceleration and traction off the
starting line.

THE AMATEUR
CHAMPION
The path to the pro circuit goes through the KX100: the
same bike that launched amateur stars like Ryan Villopoto
and Adam Cianciarulo into the big leagues. The transition to
the bigger bikes is made seamless for any aspiring rider with
the KX100’s perfect blend of responsive power, adjustable
suspension and larger wheels.

DNA
1
1
ENGINE
The liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 99cc engine produces
lap-leading peak power. With a six-speed transmission,
race-winning power is instantly delivered to the rider.
2
SUSPENSION
Both the front and rear suspension can be easily
adjusted to better suit each individual rider. The 36mm
inverted cartridge forks with shim-stack-type valving
feature 18-way adjustable compression damping while
the Uni-Trak® rear suspension has adjustable spring
preload as well as 24-position compression
and rebound damping.
3
2
BRAKES
Braking into the corners has never been more
effortless thanks to a 220mm petal brake rotor in
the front and a 184mm petal brake rotor in the rear.
Together, they produce impressive stopping power
with minimal effort and help keep the brake pads
clean for more consistent performance.

GIGANTIC
POTENTIAL
1
KX FAMILY STYLING
Imagine yourself a factory rider with a bike that mirrors
that of our champions. The KX85 shares its flowing factory
lime green graphics and lime green seat with its big bike
brothers. Grey clutch and ignition covers resist the signs
of boot rub and top off a package that makes the KX85
look like it belongs in the winner’s circle.
2
ADJUSTABLE RACE ERGONOMICS
Young riders grow fast, which is why the KX85 is equipped
with wide handlebars, 3-way adjustable handlebar clamps
and an adjustable front and rear suspension capable of
giving a young rider the confidence to go for the holeshot.
3
3
SUSPENSION
The 36mm inverted cartridge forks have shim-type valving and 20-way adjustable
compression damping for precise steering response and handling precision. The rear
is just as versatile with a fully adjustable KYB shock that has 24-position compression
and 21-position rebound damping as well as stepless spring preload.

KLX®140/140L
POWER THAT’S
DOWN TO EARTH
The KLX140 – as well as the slightly larger, more robust KLX140L – is the go-to
off-road bike for an epically fun trail ride through your favorite backwoods.
With a keyless, electric start and approachable power in a chassis that’s lower
to the ground, the KLX140/L has the capability to be ridden as hard as the
KX™ bikes that inspired it.
1
2
1
3
FRAME
The extremely rigid, KX-inspired high-tensile steel perimeter
frame feels more stable on the gas while providing a light feel at
the handlebars. A low 30.7-inch seat height on the KLX140 and
31.5-inch seat on the KLX140L feels just right.
2
WHEELS
Connecting rubber to ground are durable and lightweight
aluminum RK EXCEL rims. The KLX140L features 19-inch front
and 16-inch rear rims, laced by spokes to strong, high-grade
die-cast hubs that ride as good as they look. The KLX140 rides
on smaller 17-inch front and 14-inch rear rims for a lower
seat height and more nimble handling.
3
BRAKES
The KLX®140/L has strong stopping power with a 220mm
petal brake disc in the front that is gripped by a large-bore
27mm twin-piston caliper. Slowing the rear is a 186mm
petal brake disc grasped by a 27mm single-piston caliper.
2015
KLX®110/110L
A CAPABLE
PLAY BIKE
Whether you use it as a starter bike for your kids, in-the-pits transportation or for
mischievous mini-moto action, the KLX110/L is a versatile off-road machine the whole
family can enjoy. You have the option to choose the best fit with the 26.8-inch seat height
of the KLX110 or the taller 28.7-inch seat height of the KLX110L.
3
1
3
SUSPENSION
The 30mm telescopic fork has 5.5 inches of travel and is
tuned for optimal chassis control. The stiffer spring and
firm damping rates on the longer rear shock help restrain
the rear wheel through 5.2 inches of travel and lessen the
chance of bottoming.
2
1
STARTER SYSTEM
Starting the engine is as easy as the press of a start/stop
switch within reachable distance on the left handlebar.
A kick starter is nearby as backup, but the KLX110/L will only
start in neutral. A screw-type throttle limiter can control
speed during the learning process.
2
CLUTCH
The standard KLX110 has a 4-speed transmission and a
resilient centrifugal clutch to teach entry-level riders to shift
without the distraction of operating a clutch lever. The larger
KLX110L has a manual clutch making it the ideal stepping
stone to a motocross bike.
