Judge Mark K. Dudley – Circuit Court Division 6
Mark Dudley, while born in Ohio, received his education and formation in Indiana. Mark graduated from
Carmel High School in 1983. He graduated Indiana University – Bloomington with degrees in history and
political science. He attended Indiana University Law School – Bloomington, and obtained his law
degree, cum laude, in 1990.
Mark is admitted to the Indiana State Bar, Ohio State Bar (inactive), Northern and Southern
Districts of Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mark began his
professional career with attorney Max Howard in 1991. He maintained an active civil practice with Mr.
Howard until 1997. In 1997, Mark formed a law partnership with William Riley in Indianapolis and
practiced civil litigation with a special emphasis on asbestos cases until 2004. In 2004, Mark returned to
Anderson and practiced law with Max Howard and Lisa DeLey as Howard DeLey & Dudley. During his
career, Mark has tried cases to juries, to the bench and argued cases before the Indiana Court of
Appeals. Mark lives in rural Madison County with his wife and six daughters.
