Crickets - Gryllodes sigillatis
Housing: Crickets can be kept in a tank with a tight fitting lid and smooth sides to prevent escape.
Egg boxes should be provided for hiding, climbing and increasing the surface area so more crickets can be
kept.
Food:
Feed on a mixture of cereal, bread, vegetables and fruit.
Water:
Water should be provided in a foam filled container to prevent drowning.
Temperature: 20'C - 25'C
Breeding:
Once the adults have mated the females will lay eggs in small tubs filled with damp peat.
Keep the eggs at 35'C until they hatch when the young should be treated as adults.
