To Start: May 2016 (negotiable)
St Peter’s College is an independent Anglican Diocesan school for boys and girls from Grade 8 to Grade 12. The
school was founded in 1998 to meet the demand for a co-educational high school in northern Sandton. St
Peter's College offers an integrated and relevant South African high school education.
The assistant will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be required to:
 support the Marketing Manager with internal marketing activities that are administratively time intensive
and require a level of marketing savvy, initiative and commitment to delivery.
 administer and maintain a tight enrolment process, keeping accurate records that can be reported on at
any time.
Requirements:
 Highly motivated and energetic
 Conscientious and committed to internal and external customer service
 Ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
 Sound computer literacy (especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – will be tested
 Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills – will be tested
 Excellent telephone manner and email etiquette
 Take instruction well and adhere to processes
 Systematic; good recordkeeping and reporting skills
 Attention to detail – will be tested
 Capable of working under pressure, can prioritise and schedule workflows
 Ability to work with confidential matters
 Experience in marketing and/or sales administration (corporate or other)
 Eager to learn; proactive, problem solver
 Knowledge of school environment or having school-going aged children would be advantageous
 PencilBox (or similar database/CRM system) and Social Media experience advantageous
 Creative/ Graphic design experience advantageous
 Must be available to work at after hours or weekend events from time to time.
